This weekend was a lovely day in Boston. On Saturday, Brian and I walked from Jamaica Pond to the Arnold Arboretum - Boston's version of Central Park. It was about a 2 mile walk each way. Lisa's lesson to all: do not try to walk 4 miles in flip flop sandals. It will make you sad. Trust me.

Subject: iPad Unveiling
The iPad was released yesterday and Brian and I went down to the local Apple store to check out the scene. Luckily it was later afternoon and we had missed the early hardcore fanatics.

Hello, World!
Since my fiance and I got a DSLR, we have both been developing our interest in photography. Often we take turns with the camera shooting the same subject and I love the different results we get. We have different ideas of what looks better, what perspective we should shoot from, and different artistic preferences. As such, I thought we should have something more concrete to compare our images.
Once a week, we will come up with a different subject we both have to shoot. We get 3 shots each and then we pick the one we like best and compare them. He likes to think it's a competition for the "best" shot but I'm just more interested in how different perspectives compare. (But I think I won the first week, muahahaha).
